Show at Zakk’s in North Carolina

We finally have a show to announce for 2006! It’s been over 3 years now, but we’re finally heading back down to NC! Last time through we played at Ziggy’s with Stone Sour and Chevelle. Before that it was Ziggy’s By the Sea. This time we’re playing at Zakk’s. Apparently all venues in NC have to start with a Z…

Anyway, here’s the info:

Saturday March 25
Zakk’s
343 E. Main St.
Murfreesboro, NC
Doors @ 7:00PM
Tickets: $10
ALL AGES WELCOME

Update: Advance tickets are available for this show at JamBase.com.

Also, this show will be WEBCAST so even if you don’t live close enough to come out to the show, you can still watch it live. We’ll have more info on that as we get closer to the date.

It’s Official

“Clearing the Channel” and “Live Cuts 2005″ are now available worldwide (digital downloads only)!

In the US, you can click here to go directly to our artist page on iTunes.

Outside the US, you’ll have to find your own way, but they should be available anywhere you can buy digital music. Please let us know if you have any problems finding it.

In either case, you may find that your store of choice is not displaying the album covers correctly. We’re working on getting the problems fixed, but in the meantime you can find better versions below:

Sinch and Five.Bolt.Main at the North Star

On December 15th, Sinch and new labelmates Five.Bolt.Main (featuring former members of Flaw) will be sharing the stage at the North Star in Philadelphia!

Five.Bolt.Main will be headlining this show and we’ll be direct support (playing right before them). Two more bands are being added to the bill as well. We’ll announce them when we have more info.

For now here’s what we know:

Update! 11/18/05 - Shovelhook has been added to the 12/15 show!

Thursday, Dec 15
North Star Bar
2639 Poplar Street
Philadelphia, PA 19130
Bands: Sinch, Five.Bolt.Main, Shovelhook and 1 other TBA
21+ (sorry kids! all ages shows coming soon!)
doors: 9:00pm
$cost: 8.00

This show is (conveniently) happening the week following the international release of our first ever “online only” EP (Live Cuts 2005… see below). SO it’s the perfect opportunity to come see the live show FOR REAL… in person. As opposed to in your iPod. Speaking of which, the new iPod plays videos… we play videos in our live show… you do the math. We’ve got plans for that whole deal. More to come soon…

Anyway… come on out and celebrate our entire catalog. Everyone will be there. Yes, everyone.

Katrina Benefit

Katrina Benefit show

We will be playing a Hurricane Katrina benefit concert on Sunday, October 2nd. This is an ALL AGES show at Grape Street in Philadelphia, PA. Please come out and show your support. All proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross.

Update - 09-17-05: Noosphere will be replacing Automatic Black on this show.

As I’m sure anyone who’s not in a coma knows by now, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf coast and left hundreds of thousands of people homeless and with nowhere to go. It’s going to take *years* to rebuild and in the meantime all of those people are going to need help.

We may not raise a million dollars — actually I’m fairly certain that we won’t even come close to that — but every dollar counts. I’m sure many of you have already donated, some of you multiple times. Even so, come out, put down your $10 and enjoy the show knowing that it’s gonna help some people out of a horrible situation.

Again, this is an ALL AGES show so there’s really no excuse not to come. And in case all you alcoholics are wondering — yes, they will still be serving alcohol if you are of age. Just bring your ID and you’ll be all set to do some Sunday afternoon drinking. And by the way, I’m sure there’s an Eagles game on or something, but screw that. This is obviously way more important (and awesome).

Check the schedule for all the details.

Seether show / back to Detroit

Seether / Electric Factory show update:

First of all, we’d like to apologize to anyone who came out to the show at the Electric Factory on Aug 28.

If you haven’t heard, we ended up being taken off the show at the last minute. It really was out of our control and we did everything we could to try to get back on. It just wasn’t happening.

Unfortunately, tickets for Electric Factory shows are non-refundable (or so they say). If you are really upset about this (which we would completely understand) and want to try to get your money back, you can call the Electric Factory at 215-LOVE-222. Like I said, their policy is that they don’t do refunds, but we also understand if you are upset enough to not care what their policy is. There isn’t really anything we can do though, so your only option is to take it up with them.

For what it’s worth I don’t think it was actually the Electric Factory’s fault… more of a miscommunication thing when we were originally booking the show, but it doesn’t change the fact that you may have bought advance tickets and driven a long way only to find out they we weren’t playing.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. We will be back to the Electric Factory in the near future.

Seether

We are opening for Seether at the Electric Factory (Philadelphia) on Sunday, August 28. We are playing first, so make sure you get there when doors open. Also performing are Crossfade and Dark New Day.

Two new Detroit shows

We are heading back to Detroit for two more shows on August 25 and 26. The shows are at the Emerald Theater (8/25) and TNT’s Bar and Grill (8/26) and both are 18+ shows.

Unfortunately we’re not gonna make it back to Grand Rapids this time, so hopefully all of our GR fans don’t mind making the trip over to Detroit. We have 2 shows going on so take your pick. Or come to both!

If anyone in the Detroit area is interested in helping us promote the shows, let us know. The best thing you can do is just bring all your friends. Get as many people as you can and get them to the show. If you want to do more, we have some promotional materials (posters, flyers, etc) that you can use. Just let us know what you can do.

Back in Philly… Next Friday at Brownies.

After this upcoming weekend’s whirlwind tour of fabulous Michigan, we’ll be back in Philly for a show at the new Brownie’s 38th Street. Next Friday night (July 15), that’s where we’ll be, headlining the “Chestnut Room” stage.

I know it sounds kind of confusing. Here’s the deal: Brownies has a new center city location at 38th and Chestnut St. I’m not exactly sure *how* new it is, but no one I talk to seems to have been there before, so it’s probably new to most of you. So, anyway, they mostly have cover bands playing there. There will actually be a cover band playing the night we’re playing. But they have 2 stages, so it will switch back and forth all night between the cover band of the night and the original bands on the Chestnut Room stage. We’ll be headlining that stage at around 12:15am.

But there’s plenty of reasons to get there early, including 50 cent drafts, $1 drinks and a free buffet from 5-8pm. That’s right… food. At a Sinch show. What are the goddamn odds of that?

Friday July 15, 2005
Brownies 38th Street

doors: 5pm
cost: $6
