A few people have been asking about shows and just about what’s going on in general…
As of now, there are no shows scheduled and we really aren’t planning on doing much until after we record the album.
At last week’s show, we added something to our live show that we’ve been working on for a little while now. It’s a visual thing…. kind of hard to explain. But it’s definitely very cool and i think it adds a lot to the show. Hopefully, we’ll be doing it again.
We’re still in the process of writing more material for our upcoming Roadrunner debut. It’s only been about a week since we really started writing and we already have 3 songs completed and 2 others that are very close to being done. By the end of the month we hope to have between 15-20 songs to work with for the album. This will include all of the songs on the Project:Bluebird EP and possibly a few from Diatribe.
Once we are at that point we’ll do some rough demo recordings of all the new stuff, just for label purposes, then we’ll do a week or two of preproduction, and then we’ll begin recording the album. We don’t have a definite time frame for all that, but we will soon.
We also hope to keep things going with the website while we are in the studio - daily updates, video clips, and whatever else we can come up with to keep things interesting.
About the Ginger Snaps Soundtrack:
It was mastered and sent into production this month and is looking like it’ll be released sometime around April 2001. No official date yet, though.
Our song has secured the #4 slot on the CD, which is pretty good for a new band. I’m gonna see if I can put the track list up here on the site so you can see who else is on it.
As far as the movie goes, we really don’t know much about it or when it will be released, but from what I have read it sounds like it could be pretty good. If you want to find out more about it, go here and do a search for “Ginger Snaps movie”

For the past 3 weeks we have been writing and demoing new material for our upcoming Roadrunner debut.
Things are going very well. We currently have 7 new songs completed, and we’ll continue to write for at least another couple of weeks.
We’re all very happy with the new material. We’ve never been able to focus on our music like we’re able to now, and I think you’ll definitely be able to tell by listening to the new stuff. There’s a lot of different things going on with each song, and i think this stuff is a lot different than what we’ve done in the past. But at the same time, it’s still us and it’s still just as intense and as true to ourselves as anything we’ve ever done.
You’ll just have to wait and see.
We should be getting into the studio within the next month or so. This section will be constantly updated with news of whats going on in the studio and most likely some photos and video clips of us working on the album
Roadrunner has now posted the new version of “The Silent Acquiescence of Millions” that we recorded with Eddie Wohl and Scrap 60 Productions. This will be appearing on the Ginger Snaps soundtrack along with tracks by Glassjaw, Soulfly and others.
